52 Week Blessings Project~Week 42

This Week I Am Grateful For~ Big Families!
This past week has been so fun and something that struck me time and time again is how much I love having a big family! I grew up in a family of 8 kids. I don't think I loved it as much growing up but I can see what a huge blessing being a part of this family is! I love my siblings so much! They are the craziest, funnest, loyal, most supportive bunch of people you could ask for! I know that I can turn to anyone of them for help.We are always there for each other.
I always knew from a early age that I wanted a big family just like the one I had! Well, mission accomplished! His, mine, ours we have 10. I love it. But not always.
It has been so fun getting to have Elizabeth with us to spend the day at Coronado Island, or having Anthony come to the beach with us, or sharing some pie with Eric for his birthday. I was thinking about how much I miss having them with us and am looking forward to having all of the kids together again for the holidays!
I love my family and am grateful to have such a big one to love!

Also be grateful you saved yourself $200 by not attending the reunion. I spoke with Greg, and he told me how much fun it was. Ha Ha. They were all crowded around the bar at the Hard Rock and they were all drinking so much that the bar tender couldn't keep up. To top it off they had a taco bar for dinner. Lol. I can think of a lot better dinners that I could have for $100. Not my idea of fun, so I am grateful I did not spend the money to fly there and attend. I am grateful you did not take my advice and go.

I love our family! It's really sad, though, since everyone moved away. For some reason, it just doesn't feel right unless there is barely elbow room and the competing conversations are so loud you have to practically yell!

A big family ideed. All the love you could want.

We are traveling back from the reunion. I will have to post photos on my blog from the reunion. It was a fun time! I am glad we went. Sure the food was OK and there was only 1 bartender/beverage server at the bar to serve over 200 people, but it was fun to see old friends.

What is the name of goingsome? Just curious since you were in our class if you went to the reunion. I went to the blog page, but there is not a name there either.

Big Families ROCK! I'd have more, but my husband thinks 6 is more than plenty!

I love being in a big family. I love having a big family. People out here think we are nuts for having 5 kids, but it just feels right. It is awfully loud, though.

I love big families too! Even though things get hectic at times, I can't imagine life without one of my siblings or in-laws. It's great when we can be there for each other and share our talents with each other.
