We got the keys to the house yesterday! I went by to pick them up and was a little nervous at how messy the house was. So I went to the store and bought all my fav cleaning supplies, bought a few things to decorate the house grabbed the kids and headed over to clean.
When I got there I thought I was going to cry tears of Joy!! The house was spotless! To my standards even! I only had to start the self cleaning oven cycle! And..they left the washer and dryer. So I have been doing laundry there and here! Maybe I might even get caught up with the help of two machines! WOW!
I like the house even better going back again. It fits our family perfectly! Rachelle the snob said she is upset it is so small. Hmm I guess 3000 sq feet is small! Dumb child.
I think when she sees everything in it she will see it is perfect! I love the way it is layed out. And that it has nice clean carpets, and a nice kitchen, and a fenced pool..and on.. and on..!
I Am Loving It!!!!

52 Blessings Projest ~Week 39
This Week I Am Grateful For ~ Rachelle!!!
Poor, Poor Rachelle.
Rachelle has been so good with her sisters and brothers that she has become s my built in babysitter and I love it!
I have very rarely called someone Else because sometimes they would have a hard time with the kids and just wouldn't quite know how to handle them. With Rach I always know she will change them, feed them, referee the fights, and always, always be kind and sweet to them!
Last week she watched the kids while Tony and I went to Zachary's game even though she wanted to go also.
On Saturday Tony wanted to take me out to the Cuban restaurant for dinner and the live band. Rach really didn't want to babysit again so I told her it was OK we would stay home. When she realized it was our 11 year anniversary of getting sealed together in the temple she told us to go ahead and go. I told her it was alright we'd stay home but she insisted.
She is so dang sweet, and crazy, and stinkin fun!
We had the best time. The music was fantastic, the food amazing and I was so grateful when I got home to see Ethan was in bed asleep, the girls were in their Pj's and my house was picked up!I know I can always count on her and I am so grateful for her!
Thanks Rachelle! You are the best!

Zach, Zach, Zach!
Handsome boy isn't he? I have almost no current pictures of him. He hates me to take them! Whenever I try he yells at me and tells me No way you probably want to blog it! Then he will say I'll let you know if I take a dump so you can post that! Nice Zach! I think my penchant for sarcasm has not been a good influence!
I only have football pictures because they take a ton of the team during the games so I can grab them! This one is from last nights game. We won ~yeah! 42 to 14. Seeing it was one of those Whoa moments! He looks so much older to me for some reason. He is definitely more of a butt head lately. I'm not sure I'm going to come out of parenting this boy through the teenage years intact! He is so moody, argumentative and basically drives me crazy. He can be the sweetest, kind thing and then WHAM~butthead! So, is this just teenagebuttholeitis and there is a end in sight eventually or has my sweet boy turned into a turd and that's just how it is? I thought only girls were this moody! Sheesh!
He tires me out!
All For A Pastry
I told Tony last night we were out of diapers and Zach needed money for homecoming so I asked if he would run to the store in the morning. Well this morning Rachelle came in to give me a message from dad~Circle K didn't have any diapers. Umm.. Okay?
Whatever, so I head to the store at 6:30 to grab diapers, milk and some lunch goods. When I was done I noticed the new dunkin donuts had just opened. I thought hmm I haven't had a good ol cake donut from a doughnut shop in a long long time so I decided to grab a dozen for breakfast!
I went in and there was a line clear to the back of the store. I swear I think it is the new neighborhood drug of choice.
Nutso in there! I was going to leave but a woman managed to convince me that the wait wasn't bad only a few minutes. I decided to wait and after about 10 minutes I was getting pissed! There just ain't no donut this delicious! I had waited that long already, so I wasn't about to leave until I got my goods!
I think this town is pastry deprived! I couldn't believe the levels people would go to to score one myself included! Did I really just spend almost twenty minutes waiting for a donut?
Well~ I have milk, diapers, and the breakfast of champions..diet coke and the hottest ticket in town..
I guess life is good!

Indian Summer
Today it is kind of hot and it is windy! I know we have had days like this before but for some reason today it reminds me of the Indian Summers we have every year in California!
I loved it how growing up every year just as fall was starting we would get a surprising week of really warm weather along with some crazy wind! I used to love seeing the tumbleweeds roll across the street and the bigger they were the better! It seemed to me like it was the last little “Hurrah” of summer! Like summer just wanted to hang on a little while longer as much as I wanted it too!
It was kind of fun feeling the wind and smiling thinking of those days!

I Am On!
I feel like wonder woman today! Just not as fantastically endowed! I have been amazing! I swear!
I guess all I really needed to get motivated was a little pressure. You know, like having to move a house that looks like a bomb has gone off in it? No pressure here!
I have done 10 loads (yep 10) of laundry. Sick, but that is not even a quarter of it . I guess I need to stop buying a new outfit for the girls to wear whenever I don't want to do laundry. That might help. Anyhow, I digress...I did 10 loads today, washed, folded, and put away! I also packed several boxes and have been working on getting my room back together! I cleared the floor of all toys and I don't have to fear breaking my neck when peeing at night now!
I swear I am motivated!! I am trying to declutter, get rid of anything I don't love and pack things in a organized way. You know totally the opposite of me! I think I am really, really going to do it!
Our relief society president came by and offered to have some women come by to help pack but I think I have it under control for the moment. Also I just don't want to bring everything. I am on a mission to peace. I am going to donate half of this crap here! I am going for a clean start. Clean house and all. Wish me luck folks! I need it, but am kind of optimistic too! Woohoo!

Break A Leg!
I'm a little late posting this but I just had to make sure I did! Here are some fun pictures of Eric from his grand performance in the play Arsenic and Lace! He did a amazing job and it was so fun to watch. I was getting frustrated cause Ethan was fussy and I had to keep leaving but fortunate he fortunately went to sleep and I was able to enjoy the rest of the show! Tony also had such a good time and it was wonderful to get to see the kids again! Way to go Eric! We were so proud of you!

52 Blessings Project~ Week 38
This Week I Am Grateful For~ A New Home!
WooHoo! We found our home and we are so stinking excited! Just when I had given up all hope of finding something, we found it!
We had applied for a few homes to rent and we kept getting turned down! I finally got angry and asked one of the property managers why we were turned down and she told me because of poor landlord/tenant relations! What the???
Our landlord here had told them we were sucky tenants! Was that when we put up without air conditioning 3 times this summer? How about no air for three full weeks one of those times? Or how about when the dishwasher breaking and her not wanting to pay to fix it! Or when the pool has broken down and each summer we have only been able to use it for a month and a half ?
Hmm I guess we suck! Probably because she is angry we won't stay here while she tries to sell it! Whatever!
Well, after I heard the reason why I was really freakin out. How were we going to ever find a place to live if we were being turned down right and left?
Once I had my little breakdown we prayed and decided to just leave it in the hands of the Lord. I just prayed for the peace to accept whatever his will might be.
The next morning I found a new ad in the paper for a house we hadn't seen yet! We went to see it and knew it was the one! We were the first people to see it! We tentatively told the landlord we wanted it and asked for a rental application. He told us he doesn't need one. He likes us. All we need to do is sign the lease! Freakin huge bonus?? He told us the deposit was only $500! Unbelievable! Mom even looked him up on the county recorders office cause it seemed too good to be true! Yeah~he checks out .He is a Dr who owns several properties. He told us he bought this one when he remarried and had stepkids to fill it. when he got divorced he just didn't need a big house anymore!
We went to sign the lease tonight and he asked me if I minded him leaving the piano for us to use and the six bar stools at the counter! I wanted those bar stools and had actually told Tony I wanted to make a offer to buy them from him! I get them for free plus a piano which is something I have always wanted! ANDDD~ Rent is almost $900 less than what we are paying now! And I like this home so much better than where we are now! The kitchen is great, and I love the back yard! The home is big!It has a pool that is actually fenced! We got everything we wanted in this home!
I feel as if my heavenly Father loves me and heard and answered my prayers . I feel at peace now!
For this I am very grateful!

OH NO HE DIDN'T!!!!
Those were the words I scream when Hannah told me what he did! How could he? I just might not be talking to him for a week. His marital privileges are revoked for sure!
OK, what did he do You ask?
HE CUT MY BABIES CURLS OFF!!! Seriously!
I had trimmed Ethan's hair. Just the front. Not the back curls. Just enough to get the hair out of his eyes! I told Hannah to have Tony check to see if I did OK since Ethan was trying to escape the whole time. Next thing I know, Hannah is telling me about the crime! How could he do this to my baby? My last little baby! I just wanted to keep him little for a while longer!
Anyhow, of course He is a fantastic looking baby no matter what, but he looks older now. More like a big boy and every time I look at him I am a little pissed!
Keep your fingers crossed for me that when it grows back, his curls come back!
Well here are some pictures of the damage!

Why Didn't I Do This Sooner?
Umm~ Light bulb has gone off here! I had a epiphany!Last night I was trying to get Bailey and Grace to go to sleep. Talk about frustrating! They were wired for sound laughing, getting out of bed, and wouldn't stop talking! I was contemplating pulling out the cough syrup for a little "night cap" for the girls! Now, having them not going to sleep might not bother me so much, but they still both sleep in my bed! Yep~I'm nuts! I was one of those moms who just couldn't stand to hear the poor, poor baby crying! As a result..I'm the one crying at night instead. Now when Ethan was born, I was cooked. Done. I just knew I couldn't survive another one in my bed. So I let him scream it out for a few nights! And now..He loves bedtime!
Today he was fussy and I told him night night! He smiled and did a little dance!
I put him in bed he took his bottle out of his mouth and told me night night with a big smile on his face, put the bottle back in and went to sleep! Just like that! Wow! My first ever to take daily naps! So, light bulb moment?I was wrong!(how can that be?I'm ALWAYS right!) I thought I was doing things right not letting them cry it out!Crazy to think I couldn't stand the baby crying and yet a few days of frustration would have been better than years of being tortured nightly!
Why didn't I do this sooner? If I were having more kids (which I'm not!) I would know better!
So, Bailey and Grace? Is there any hope for me? Will they still be in my bed as teenagers? I have to confess I am getting a little worried here!
Any suggestions folks?

One Of Those Days!
It's been one of those days and I am feeling like this~ My house is a mess, my laundry is about to reach the roof, I am stressed about this house being on the market and living here, I have no motivation to tackle the house and my girls are acting like this~
I've been trying to go to my happy place and think of this~
Frustrating, frustrating day. Hmm....Makes we wonder...why did I get out of bed today?
Anyhow.. here are a few funnies ~
Top Ten Signs That You Might Be A Frustrated Mom
1. Your children know how to read HTML code but can't operate a vacuum cleaner.

7. The laundry seems to have taken on an evil nature and you begin to feel that it's out to get you.
8. You dread hearing the phone ring because it's a sure sign there's about to be trouble amongst the children.
9. It's finally your turn on the computer and "Touched by an Angel" is just coming on.
10.You go to sleep with "I'm bored" or "I'm hungry" still ringing in your ears.
You Might Be A Mom If . . .

2. When the kids are fighting, you threaten to lock them in a room together and not let them out until someone's bleeding.

4. You spend an entire week wearing sweats.
5. Your idea of a good day is making it through without a child leaking bodily fluids on you.
6. Popsicles become a food staple.

12. Spit is your number one cleaning agent.
13. You buy cereal with marshmallows in it.
14. The closest you get to gourmet cooking is making Rice Krispie treats.
15. You're up each night until 10:00 P.M. vacuuming, dusting, wiping, washing, drying, loading, unloading, shopping, cooking, driving, flushing, ironing, sweeping, picking up, changing sheets, changing diapers, bathing, helping with homework, paying bills, budgeting, clipping coupons, folding clothes, putting to bed, dragging out of bed, brushing, chasing, buckling, feeding (them, not you), PLUS swinging, playing baseball, bike riding, pushing trucks, cuddling dolls, roller blading, basketball, football, catch, bubbles, sprinklers, slides, nature walks, coloring, crafts, jumping rope, PLUS raking, trimming, planting, edging, mowing, gardening, painting, and walking the dog. You get up at 5:30 AM and you have no time to eat, sleep, drink, or go to the bathroom, and yet...you still managed to gain 10 pounds.
And..last funny..A spoof off of MTV's Pimp my ride. Sad thing is they nailed this! Can I cry already?

52 Blessing Project~ Week 37
This Week I Am Grateful For~Anthony's!!
When I was a little girl one of my favorite things was when my parents would load all 8 of us into the van or station wagon and we would head to the harbor to eat at Anthony's. Anthony's is a fun restaurant that is on the harbor. It has been around since 1946 and is still going strong! When
we went we would always order the same thing~Shrimp boats! It was fried shrimp that was served in a blue plastic boat! I think I loved the boat as much as the food!
I loved going to Anthony's!
it always felt like such a great adventure!
Well, we took the girls to the fish grotto there this weekend and it brought back such great memories! The food was still incredible and it was neat being able to sit with my family by the water, feeding the gulls, watching boats sail by and enjoying a fun lunch! I loved being able to recreate the same memories for my kids as the ones I loved growing up!
As we were leaving we walked past the Star of The Sea Room. It is next to the grotto and a part of Anthony's. It is a fine dining restaurant. I was reminded of my 16th birthday! My dad took me on my first date and I chose to go there! It was so fun. I remember how grown up I felt!
I had such fun this weekend reminiscing and sharing with my family!
It was wonderful sharing those memories with my kids and enjoying a beautiful day on the harbor!
Weekend Get Away!
We had the best weekend!
We found out a couple of weeks ago that Eric was going to be in a play and that he had the lead part of it! We decided to head down to California to see it and to check out Anthony's football game!
Being a little scatter brained, I forgot my camera, so I had to borrow them from others.
Anthony's game was in El Centro so only Tony went since I just couldn't see traveling with the little ones 5 hours in the car (2.5 each way) and keeping them up past bedtime for several hours. Crazy! Anyhow, I know Tony was delighted to get to finally see his game! Here are some pictures of his game! Tony took the pictures and of course, didn't get any good ones of his face! Sheesh! I guess these will have to do, and hopefully I will get some better ones later!
Eric's play was fantastic and he did an amazing job! I am at the mercy of my step kids waiting for them to email me the pictures (hint, hint!) as I borrowed the camera from them! So, when I get them I will post some!
We swam at mom's, enjoyed the fun play, visited with cousins, and Tony got to enjoy breakfast and the game with his kids. It was a very Nice weekend!
And to finish off the trip? We went to Anthony's Fish Grotto down by the harbor. If you have never been then next time you are in California, I recommend it highly! They have the very best shrimp and fish and chips!
We sat outside by the water watching boats go by. The girls fed the seagulls, there was a fantastic breeze, and the skies were clear and blue! Perfect ending to a fantastic weekend!
(ok...now I am irritated. the only pics of Anthonys Fish Grotto I had were on my phone and my phone won't turn on and it looks like water damage. Nice. Now whathappened to the phone?)

This Week I Am Grateful For Cooler Temperatures!
OK..It's not that much cooler here, but this weeks temps have only been in the 90s and are expected to stay there for the rest of the week.
It gives me hope thinking the end is in sight!
I can't wait for cooler temperatures and now it seems they could be right around the corner and for that I am very grateful!

Happy Happy Birthday Zachary Dear!
Oh My Gosh!!! My baby boy is 16 today!!!!! What??
Here are a few things we love about Zachary~
Bailey said~He holds me. He gives me food.Happy Birthday Zach
Grace said~ He goes swimming in the pool with mermaids. He plays with this airplane with me
Tony said~His sense of humor. He is kind to people. He likes the sports I like.
Hannah said~ He's crazy! He makes everyone laugh
Here are a few more things that I love about Zachary!
Zachary is one of my funniest kids. He has always been a jokster! I've told this story to a few of you before, but it is my favorite stories. When we lived in Utah we had friends from church all around us. The neighbors on each side of us and the two behind us were from church. At night during the summer most families spent time outside. One summer evening we were in the backyard. We were laying on the trampoline talking. Tony, me and the kids. We could hear neighbors in all the yards around us. We kept telling Zachary to go get in the shower. He wouldn't do it. I finally yelled at him "Zachary, go get your butt in the shower now!!" he went upstairs, and I heard him Yell "Mom, I finally have my butt up here in the shower!" I looked upstairs and Zach had his butt pressed against the window and I heard loud laughter coming from the yards surrounding us! I was so embarrassed, but it cracks me up today thinking about it! That is SO Zachary!
Zach has a really sweet side to him. He is so kind (when he wants to be!) Rachelle and him have seminary at school together. Rachelle has a class that is at the far end of the campus. Zachary waits for her every single day to walk with her to class. She told me she thinks it is so sweet of him to do this. He introduces her to all his friends who play football and Rachelle thinks she has hit it big!
When he is out of town I love it when he comes home. He walks to the little girls and says "hey friends, I'm home! I missed you, did you miss me?" he means it too!
I expect so much out of him and he does it. Without too much complaint.
It is so fun to spend time with him, watching a show together, working side by side, driving. I just love talking with him. Learning about him. Sharing a part of his life.
He is a great kid and I count him as one of my greatest blessings!
Happy Birthday Zachary!

Football Fever!
It's here! Football has officially begun. Thursday night was our first game of the season against Desert Ridge High school. Here's Zachary #70!
I forget how intense it can be watching the games! I tend to embarrass my family with all my yelling an carrying on!
This game was no exception. I was really getting worked up over this one! We did score the first touchdown but not as easily or as quickly as I would have liked! It was too intense! I watch Zach like a hawk watching as he makes a good block and worrying he is going to get hurt and laugh when he is pissed yelling at Sterling to quit being a girl and make the block! (his words after the game, I just saw him screamin at him during it!)
During the first few plays of the last quarter the other team scored and we were behind. I was angry with some crap calls by the referee, and frustrated with a turnover and some missed catches! I was getting really worked up when I saw one of our best players (and one of Zach's best friends) Gerald lying on the ground, and not getting up.
It was awful to watch. He was kicking his legs, but not getting up.
We watched as the team paramedics worked on him, and then a ambulance came. They worked on him for a good twenty minutes. They had to start a IV, and after a bit were able to transfer him and take him away.
The boys were really upset. One of them threw up on the sidelines!
Gerald had broke his arm clean in several places and it was laying in weird abnormal ways. Zach said it looked like a creepy snake!
Wow, when the game started again I have to say I wasn't as excited, or upset over a bad call, or even mad when we didn't win the game. I was just hoping Gerald was OK, and glad that Zachary had a game without getting hurt!
I love football, and watching him play, but boy, this is my biggest fear! Injuries! We have had a few close calls, but his injuries were always minor and he healed OK!
I guess it's just a part of the game!
Anyhow, we are looking for a rubber arm to have the team sign and are going to bring some treats to Gerald in the hospital.
Zach was pretty upset at the game, but he is over it. Already talking about next Thursday's game and the teams strategy with Tony, and today is nothin but college football on the TV.Life moves on, and the love of football prevails!
I guess football fever has begun!

Bailey Starts Preschool!
Guess what?? Bailey is going to preschool! Yeah!! I have never enrolled her before and to be honest never even thought about it. At church Kendra was telling me how great her mother in law's preschool was. On a whim I asked if there was any room left. There was! So here we are!We enrolled her and went to meet Mrs MCclure. Wow~ she is fantastic and so is her preschool. I am stoked!
Bailey of course is thrilled.
We carpool with Kendra and Atalie. They are both super fantastic, and I only have to drive once a week! Cool.
Anyhow... here are lots of pictures. Weird that I am just as excited as Bailey!

My Kids Are Doomed!
Listen up all you frantic stressed mommies out there! We are in deep trouble here! Check out this headline I just found!
Stressed Mothers May Raise Fat Children:Study
So here's just a small samplin of the story:Children may be getting fat before the age of 10 because their mothers are stressed out and the youngsters seek escape by eating unhealthy comfort food, researchers say!
My poor, poor kids don't stand a chance!
Oh, OK, so NOW we know why there is a problem with national childhood obesity.Stressed mothers. But~ What are we gonna do about it? I've been rackin my brain cause I'm so worried. Ya see, I'm not sure I know of any mommies out there that aren't stressed so I am beginning to think we are doomed. But I do have a few suggestions for them. Perhaps they could make a vending machine.Prozac on Demand!(or maybe even Xanax)You know like the ones they make for kids candies? This one is for all the moms. Placed strategically like at the exit doors of grocery stores, next to the dollar bill changer at Chuckie Cheese, and any other place that our kids are prone to throw a good fit! That might ease MY stress. Also, I think we should have government sponsored spa retreats. Massage, mani's, pedi's, the works for any and all stressed moms out there. Another thing? A law should be passed that all husbands are required to put in at least 2 hours of hard labor at home a day. Just 2! We stressed mommies put in 24, so this shouldn't be such a sacrifice! It's for our kids gentlemen! Come on!

Come on!
I think maybe even free super big gulps might help me a little too! And maybe a free night at a hotel of choice for a good nights sleep? Is there a way for the government to arrange for some babysitting just so that I can pee without a audience? That might help. I wonder if they can invent a shock collar for teens. you know like the ones dogs wear that shocks them when they bark? Only this one will shock our teenagers whenever they back talk or are disrespectful. They do need to be careful though. We need to make sure that with all the continuous shocks these puppies (kids)are bound to get that their brains won't be fried too much! Just a few suggestions I am thinking about sending on to my local senator. We stressed moms (and our fatties) need all the help we can get. Work with us people, this is the future of our nation we are talking about here!
Otherwise I think..
My Kids Are Doomed!
Lieberman Rocks!
OK, I know that it is probably not wise to talk politics since it can get dicey, but hey, he IS a Dem and I AM a Republican so I am going to do it anyhow! Maybe we can agree or agree to disagree! So~Did you get a chance to see Joe Lieberman's speech last night at the Republican convention? Umm freakin amazing! I love this man! You know why? He goes with his conscience..always. not party lines, but what he thinks is the right thing to do. Wow. A politician in Washington that has some actual moral character!
People were pissed at the talk of McCain having him as a running mate. I totally would have voted for him. I think what you see is what you get. I love that about him. Republican, Democrat, or independent. We need more politicians like him. Those who will vote and act on what they think is best for our country and not what they are told to do!
Dems panties are in a bunch today and it has me giggling! Here is "the quote" that I have seen all over the Internet that pissed them off the most! He said "eloquence is no substitute for a record." When referring to Barrack Obama! Another fantastic line "In the Senate, [Obama] has not reached across party lines to get anything significant done, nor has he been willing to take on powerful interest groups in the Democratic Party,"
Now I find it funny that the Dems are saying how could he do this to our party? Umm could it be that you tried to out him and he had to run independently? Hello? If they had a brain they'd take it out and play with it!
Anyhow, I just had to say I love this guy. I only wish he were running for pres instead of the other two. At least I would know for sure what we were getting!

Fun Lovin
Ethan was once a really snuggly baby. I mean really snuggly. But. he grew a little. and didn't want to be contained. and he became a little more independent. and just wasn't into it anymore. Bummer. My boy isn't such a baby anymore!
Yesterday though was delightful. After church he just wanted to hang out with me! he just sat on my lap all day.Doing nothing. Just snugglin! Grace of course had to get into the action. Fun for me!
