Missing My Hubby, And Question..Should I Worry?

Tony is in Vegas for the managers conference and I am missing him! He has really had to step it up around here helping me and now that he is gone I can really see how much he was doing! Dang!
I was kinda worried how I was going to do for almost a week on my own but it has been OK.

Before Tony left he cleaned my room so I'd have a clean place to hide out then the morning he was going to fly out he got up early and mopped the floors since I had gone to bed the night before complaining how gross it was that my feet were sticking to the floors in the kitchen! Nice. He said he just wanted me to feel like things were not out of control.

And my super sweet sister in law Janeal called last week and told me she had ordered me a bunch of dinners from Dream Dinners. How nice is that? I only had to go pick them up. They were already assembled. Can I just say I love this lady? Janeal~ You are the best! Thanks!
So I had a fresh start before he left. Clean house, and meals already prepared.
I guess I am going to survive without him after all. Funny when he is here some days I want to punch him in the face or send him out to the car to sleep ( relax..haven't done it yet..just a thought..) And now that he is gone I miss him like crazy. He really is my best friend and I love ( almost all of the time) being with him!

Lately though~

I worry my kids are feral at this point. Kinda animalistic! Want to know what the dictionary definition of feral is?
A feral organism is one that has escaped from domestication and returned, partly or wholly, to its wild state. See....they are sadly, sadly feral!

Here are some examples to prove my point~

They have resorted to scrounging for food. They no longer rely on someone finding their food for them, they have turned to the survival instinct in them and have found clever ways to get it themselves.

Their hair has become kinda wild and nappy.Almost matted like.

They seldom wear clothes. They have decided to go back to their natural state.

And they have decided to forgo dishes. Much more efficient eating and drinking off the floor.

See...My kids are now feral. Scary!Should I worry?

ah it's survival of the fittest. they will get over it once you are back to your old self.

i like to call it independence.

my kids are feral too. It's good for them to know how to manage on their own. You're a great mother for letting them discover how to fulfill their basic neccesities! (errr...that's what I tell myself!)

a little food and drink, off the floor or pavement, is all they really need, the rest is just icing. ;)
Awesome lady Janeal! Can she be my family too?

Oh my gosh, Laurie. I hadn't read the blogs for a while cause I've been crazy busy.
This one made it totally worth it! I love the picture of the butt and the frige.
Also that you figured out what to say... feral cats, I know, never met feral kids yet... well except mine and you guys!
It will all work out and everyone will be fine.
Love you,
Aunt Lynda

I don't think you should worry at all as long as they are providing so much fantastic blog fodder! I'm glad Tony has been helping so much lately. What a great idea Janeal had! I would never have known such a thing existed. She has a gift for thoughtfulness, doesn't she?

O.K- this post made me laugh out loud! My kids became feral with my last pregnancy too. And the house was a total jungle! I am feel rotten that your SIL hundreds of miles away is doing more for you than I am 30 minutes away. When can I take your kids? When is Tony coming back? I need to stop feeling so overwhelmed with my crazy brood and step up! Is your ward still helping out? E mail me, girlie!

Give up! It's hopeless! It comes with a large family. It is the survival of the fittest. However, it will all change when they begin to grow hair in strange places. Then they will be shocked, shocked at such behavior around them. Janeal is the very best!

I love the picture of the bare butt and the fridge. Too funny! I know I feel like my kids are wild animals most of the time too. Great pictures lol.

I could never get my kids to wear clothes at that age. One of my kids ate a cigarette butt of the ground. EWWW! And I wasn't sick as a dog either, I was right there!

What a sweet hubby you have!!!! You better keep him around - most are NOT like that.

About the kids - I love the picture of the little one in the fridge without panties! hahaha - crack up!!! Don't worry - when you feel bad just think of poor Oct-a-Mom. Seriously!
