I Look Like A Transvestite???

Okay, so I have not been feeling so great so of course I really haven't done much with myself but I was getting tired of feeling like a troll and looking like one too. I may feel bad but I don't have to look it too.So I made a apt to get my hair done. The last time I had my hair done was for my birthday. And they FRIED it! It was ugly. So I went to a really nice salon and they promised me they could fix it.
It took 4 hours to do my hair and wax my eyebrows. I guess I needed alot of work. And it was freakin crazy expensive~But I was tired of looking bad so what the heck. And when I was done I actually felt pretty good.So I decided to head down to Macy's grand opening and get some foundation. I have that dang pregnancy mask still from Ethan. I wanted something to cover it.
The woman kept saying she couldn't decided if it would be better to go really dark and cover it cause she thought it looked so bad or if she went a shade lighter and helped minimize the impact. Hmmm not helping me feel my best but whatever.
So I go home and Hannah says "What the the heck did you do to your hair? It looks like crap"
I went to my room and laid down and Grace came and laid next to me. She was studying my face then said " Wow mom, You look like a man with makeup on!" OK, so now I look like a transvestite! I think my plan is back firing here!
Yesterday at the store I took a deep breathe and the cashier asked if I was OK. I told her yeah, just prego and nauseated and she said I can see that. You look super pale.
And today at Sam's club I passed a lady doing a food demonstration and she asked how I was today. I said good thank you. Her response? You look really, really tired.
Note to self~ Instead of spending over 200 bucks to feel better, just spend $20 on some really, really good chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate!

you think that's bad? One night (I can't belive I'm sharing this but that'll show you how much I want you to feel better) I came into the living room in my nightgown, braless as I was ready for bed. My daughter asked me what was in my shirt and I said nothing. She said, You mean those are your BOOBS way down there??

If that's not evidence i need a lift I don't know what is. Kids are WAY too honest.

p.s. In response to your comment about Desi getting along so well with her sibs...she does get along well with them most of the time but DO NOT think it's all the time. My 7 yr old is SEVERE adhd and allllll the kids have trouble getting along with him.

p.s. It helps that her oldest LITTLE brother is taller than her, rubs her feet, picks her up and carries her places, and basically does all her bidding. I didn't do anything to make that so. It's just his personality. The next little brother feels like he has to compete a little so he's real nice to her too. But don't get me started on the boys and their tiffs. trust me, they happen. lol

You need to post a pic so your true friends can give you advice. I bet you look fabulous.
My kids favorite song to sing to me is "Baby got Back", but I believe it is with true admiration they sing this for the sacrifice I gave to give birth to all of them.

What, no pix!? I feel cheated! Never, ever go for a big change like a hair cut when you feel like crap. It is always a disaster! I recommend spa treatments like massages, facials, and mani/pedis. New clothes are also a plus. And yes, the chocolate is always a plus. Did you know it's Girl Scout cookie time? :)

Holy Crap! What's a girl got to do to get a nice comment? I bet you looked fabulous, but regardless, didn't it feel great to get out on your own? I hate it when people tell me I look tired. Come on. Give me a break.

I bet you look great. Even looking great, though, you can't hide being tired. Or being pregnant. Go get a pedi with deluxe foot massage and eat chocolate and ben and jerrys during it!

What, where are the pictures? I don't know what you are talking about with your skin. I have envied your skin since you moved here. I think you have wonderful smooth skin. Not a wrinkle or a blemish on it. ANd I thought you looked great last week. Until your meds ran out. I have never seen someone so obviously miserable. I came home and apologized for being such a baby with my pregnancies. I was awefully sick, but I have never seen someone as sick as you. I will be bringing chocolate soon!;)

Girl, I don't know what it is with you that this crap keeps happening lol. Somebody upstairs must know you have a great sense of humor. As everybody else said, I'm sure you look great. And, who doesn't look tired when they're nauseous all the time?

Btw, my kids used to call me "mommy dearest" - tell me that doesn't take the cake. I think I take pride in it now..."NO MORE WIRE HANGERS!"
