I had a best friend in high school who lived just down the street from me.We hadn't seen or spoken to each other in 20 years ~We recently have gotten in touch again. And we have just happened to find ourselves neighbors again . Small world eh?How cool is that? She googled my name and found me through my blog (scary!!) and got in contact! I am so grateful that she did!
So we did it finally. We got together. Wow. After 20 years!We went out to dinner Saturday night with our husbands to a Cuban restaurant here in town. I was nervous to see her of course. Would she be the same? Would we have anything in common? Would she think I look old and haggard? See...I was worried Ü
Well, it was fantastic! We had a lot of laughs. She is the same fun gal I remember only better! Her husband is delightful as well. He's a funny, easygoing guy. And.. she is a blogger through and through! These pics are courtesy of her. My husband made me leave my camera at home but she brought hers. See Tony..every moment is a blog moment! I am glad she brought hers.
It was great to see her again and it felt like we just picked up right where we left off. It's funny how I always feel that way about my real /good friends!
